Sinking Creek Road Closed To Through Traffic For Miller Lane Bridge Replacement In Johnson City

Sinking Creek Road will be closed to through traffic beginning September 1 while crews replace the bridge at Miller Lane.

Sinking Creek Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1 while crews replace the bridge at Miller Lane. Emergency traffic will not be able to pass.

Property owners to the east of the work site at Miller Lane will be granted western access along the east side of Sinking Creek Road. Property owners on Miller Lane and those to the west of the work site will be directed to access Sinking Creek Road via Cherokee Road and Lone Oak Road.

All drivers are encouraged to avoid this area when possible. Detours and signage will be in place for drivers. This closure and the related detours will remain in place until the work is completed, which is estimated to be Feb. 10, 2022.
