The Johnson City Board of Commissioners will consider one appointment to the Johnson City Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The appointment will be for a term of three years.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board makes policy recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding the provision of recreation services and the use of facilities, including acquisition and disposal of property related to the City’s Parks and Recreation program. This board meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office at Winged Deer Park, 4137 Bristol Highway.

Applicants should be interested in parks and recreation and must be a resident of Johnson City Applications may be submitted online at www.johnsoncitytn.org/boards. The deadline for applications is May 15.
