Washington County Government: Health Department Changes Coronavirus Drive-Thru Testing Hours

Self-testing kits are available at each of the local health departments Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Northeast Regional Health Office announces local health departments throughout the region will change their testing hours beginning Monday, September 27th. Health departments within the public health region include Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins-Church Hill, Hawkins-Rogersville, Johnson, Unicoi and Washington Counties.

COVID-19 PCR drive-through testing is done by a nurse with a nasal swab. Local health departments within the region will provide PCR drive-through testing Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:30 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. Self-testing kits are available at each of the local health departments Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
