• Museum of Appalachia receives grants from Tennessee Commission (thedailytimes.com) — Norris residents can look forward to an expanded two-day Independence Day Anvil Shoot Celebration at the Museum of Appalachia, thanks to new state America 250 grants. The funding also supports major preservation work on the museum’s historic Cantilever Barn, helping safeguard a signature piece of Southern Appalachian history right in Norris.
