Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies Respond To Possible Shooting
Police responded to 4300 block of Brushy Creek where they found an injured victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — Williamson County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an incident categorized as a "possible shooting" early Saturday that left a person injured.
The incident occurred along the 4300 block of Brushy Creek at around 3:30 a.m., according to the sheriff's office. A person was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate. In the meantime, the sheriff assured there is no threat to the public. When law enforcement use such verbiage, it is to convey such incidents are limited to encounters between a suspect and victim and are not random in nature.

The area was blocked off to traffic for an extended period of time given a heavy police presence before streets were re-opened several hours later.

Cedar Park Shooting: Brother Kills Brother, Woman On Life Support
The incident marked the second shooting in the Cedar Park area in as many months. Police on Jan. 20 responded to a Cedar Park apartment complex at around 9:15 p.m. where they found a man dead of an apparent gunshot wound. The incident later was found to have been motivated by robbery, and the suspects were subsequently arrested and jailed.
Another shooting in Cedar Park last year left two men dead and a woman critically injured who later died in what was described as a murder-suicide. That incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at 711 Dogwood Trail.
