Document Shines Light On Dallas Hotel Murder; One Arrested
Police records state the 37-year-old murder suspect fired the deadly shots in the hotel's parking lot while a witness looked on.

DALLAS, TX — An arrest has been made in the March 10 shooting left 22-year-old Francisco Munoz dead in a hotel parking lot in the 4100 block of North Central Expressway.
Michael Ryan Warner, 37, was arrested early Tuesday on a warrant. A probable cause affidavit signed by a Dallas Police Department detective details the night of the alleged shooting.
According to the affidavit, Warner was visiting a woman at the hotel on the night of the incident. The document states the woman was concerned with Warner's strange behavior, so she sent a text message asking her friends to come to the hotel room.

When her friends, one of whom was Munoz, arrived outside the hotel room, they heard her scream "He's raping me," from inside the room, the document states.
One friend tried to kick in the door, and Warner eventually came out of the room. At that time, one of the woman's friends punched Warner in the face and he fell to the ground.

From the ground, Warner pulled a gun and began firing shots toward witnesses. Munoz was struck. According to the document, Munoz tried to run but fell in the hotel parking lot.
Warner then walked over to Munoz and fired another round at him while he was laying on the ground, the affidavit states.
Warner left the hotel, but was captured on security camera footage and later identified by a witness who saw Warner's photo in a news report. He was arrested in Bedford and remains in Dallas County Jail on a charge of murder and a $200,000 bail amount.
