Austin To Ring In New Year In Style With Fireworks Display
Among the biggest holiday pyrotechnics shows in the city, the event at Vic Mathias Shores starts with music and ends with 10 p.m. fireworks.

AUSTIN, TX — It's one thing to watch a fireworks display to ring in the new year in Austin. It's quite another thing to see pyrotechnics at the mother of all fireworks displays staged by the municipality itself.
Best part of it all: It's free. So grab your friends, family, neighbor, colleagues and clients to say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020. The loud sounds of fireworks will be tempered with the the sweet sounds of Shinyribs and The Peterson Brothers providing live entertainment.
The party gets started at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 at Vic Mathias Shores. The music starts at 9 p.m. before the fireworks finale at 10 p.m.
