AUSTIN, TX — Police on Saturday were conducting an investigation stemming from a death in South Austin, officials said.
The Austin Police Department wrote on Twitter the dead person was found along the 800 block of West Riverside Drive. Police noted the death was not being viewed as suspicious, however.
No further details were provided, and the gender and age of the deceased person is unknown. "There will not be a briefing provided," police said in alerting that no customary press conference would be staged for media outlets.
