Pizzeria Catering To UT-Austin Students Donates Proceeds To Slain Student's Family Fund
Pizza Press near university donates all its grand opening proceeds, $3,200, to Harrison Brown Memorial Fund benefiting his family.

AUSTIN, TX — The Pizza Press in West Campus near the University of Texas at Austin has donated $3,200 to the Harrison Brown Memorial Fund in honor of the freshman slain by a fellow student during a recent knifing attack on campus.
The company made the donation in conjunction with its recent grand opening amid the community that rallied to express their support of Brown's family. All profits from the pizzeria's grand opening were donated to the fund, officials of the diner said.
“We exceeded our fundraising goal because of the generosity of the community,” said Lisa Hilo, owner of The Pizza Press in Austin. “I believe Austin is a great community and because the students, faculty and locals came together for this worthwhile cause, we hope we were able to make a small difference, and show our support to the Brown family.”
