A gift to Texas Tech Health El Paso will establish a fellowship (kvia.com) — A major family donation is launching a new special-needs dentistry fellowship at Texas Tech Health El Paso's Hunt School of Dental Medicine, expanding advanced training options right here in El Paso. The endowment-backed program will support one dental graduate each year, making the school one of only ten nationwide with a dedicated postdoctoral fellowship in this specialty.
   

5. Unexpected Visitors Take Flight Over Downtown El Paso (klaq.com) — Downtown El Paso residents recently looked up to see a long stream of bats flying over areas near San Jacinto Plaza, creating an unexpected spooky-season spectacle. Locals can reportedly spot them around sunset near Mesa and Mills, turning an ordinary evening stroll into an impromptu bat-watching experience.
