At the Human Relations Commission's Sept. 14 meeting, consultants outlined data-driven field work, public surveys and technology tools guiding where improvements happen first, while new commissioners were sworn in ahead of the Oct. 5 meeting.

From approving a burned house's rehabilitation to setting conditions on a new build and garage connection, these decisions shape how historic character and tax exemptions will work in your part of the city.

Friends, community catch glimpse of Fort Worth native on 'Survivor' (dallasnews.com) — A Fort Worth crowd packed Coco Shrimp in Near Southside to cheer on local Survivor contestant and TCU medical student Thien An Nguyen, who was born and raised in the city.
