Texas Pilot And Businessman Flies Four Hours Just To Vote

Sometimes going to vote means hopping in a plane and flying hundreds of miles.

COMFORT, TX -- Texas pilot AJ Allee wasn't going to let hundreds of miles keep him from voting in this year's midterm elections. Allee, who is also a pilot, hopped in his Beechcraft Baron Monday night in Oklahoma, flew to San Antonio, and drove to Comfort to vote Tuesday morning before flying back.

"I am an immigrant who earned his citizenship in 1995. I value my voting right. I earned it and will vote no mater what," Allee told Patch. "As an American today, I am proud to say I support all legal immigrants and love people of all faith as long as they are coming here to assimilate, contribute to society, and become Americans."
