Oakland (12-4) at Houston (9-7), 4:35, ESPN | Houston -3.5; O/U 37

The skinny: Both teams are down to their backup quarterbacks, and both of them left Week 17 with injuries. The story of the playoff push was the Raiders losing MVP candidate quarterback Derek Carr to a broken leg, severely debilitating their Super Bowl hopes. But they could probably beat Houston with his brother and former Texans quarterback David Carr if they needed to. The Raiders topped Houston earlier this season in Mexico, but that was when Carr had two working legs and Texas QB Brock Osweiler was yet to be beaten out by someone named Tom Savage.

Detroit (9-7) at Seattle (10-5-1), 8:15, NBC | Seattle -8; O/U 44

The skinny: Detroit predictably flopped against the Giants, then with the whole world watching at Dallas, then again Sunday night at home to the Packers. While the Lions are skidding into the playoffs, the once-formidable Seahawks coast in from a putrid NFC West with an equally odorous offensive line. Russell Wilson has a championship pedigree, but Seattle isn't the threat many thought it would be. The home game is big, since the Seahawks are 7-1 at home and only 3-4-1 on the road.

Sunday, Jan. 8

Miami (10-6) at Pittsburgh (11-5), 1:05, CBS | Pittsburgh -11; O/U 45.5

The skinny: Take the over here. It's unknown if and when Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill will return from a knee injury, but Miami has the skill position players to keep pace with a nuclear Pittsburgh offense led by Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown. Miami has been a terrific surprise this season, which turned around with a victory over Pittsburgh in Week 6, but the Steelers know how to win - in fact, they've won seven straight heading into this game.

NY Giants (11-5) at Green Bay (10-6), 4:40, Fox | Green Bay -5.5; O/U 44.5

The skinny: It took all weekend, but finally a game with two legit Super Bowl contenders. Everyone knows what Eli Manning and the Giants can do when they get hot in the postseason (look away, New England.) Speaking of hot, MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers and the Packers reeled off six straight wins to capture the NFC North and officially become the Team Nobody Wants to Face.
