U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is growing increasingly isolated from some of her party's most influential officials and donors after playing a key role in scuttling voting rights legislation that many Democrats consider essential to preserving democracy.
Leaders of the Arizona Democratic Party voted Saturday to censure Sinema, a symbolic condemnation for the woman who just three years ago brought the party an Arizona Senate seat for the first time in a generation.

In addition, donors are threatening to walk away. Other groups are gathering money to challenge her in the next collection. Young activists are holding a hunger strike to garner her attention.

A Missing Monkey Melee
A truck carrying about 100 monkeys was involved in a crash Friday in Pennsylvania, state police said as authorities searched for at least three of the monkeys that appeared to have escaped the vehicle. Arnold Schwarzenegger In Car Crash
Actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed that he was involved in a four-vehicle crash in Pacific Palisades that sent an injured woman to a hospital for treatment. The actor was driving an SUV when the collision unfolded Friday afternoon, his spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times.
