From cheesy to clever to cringeworthy, these companies brought their A-games when dreaming up this year's April Fools' Day pranks.

ACROSS AMERICA — Friday was April Fools Day. It's also the day each year that companies roll out the wildest, wackiest, eyebrow-raising "new products" while simultaneously trying their best to convince us of their authenticity.

Companies including Domino's, Duolingo, and Butterfinger all got in on the fun this year by dreaming up imaginary products such as chocolate menstrual pads and "Bridgerton" beer.

1. Domino's Pizza

This year, the national chain took one of the biggest debates in pizza history and flipped it on its head. Pizza on pineapple, anyone?

2. Butterfinger / Hellman's Mayo
