Former Trump Aide Meadows To Cooperate With Jan. 6 Committee
Mark Meadows, chief of staff under former President Trump, has agreed to testify and provide documents to the committee, reports say.

WASHINGTON, DC — Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff for President Donald Trump, will cooperate with the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to reports.
As part of a cooperation agreement, Meadows will provide documents and will also testify before the panel, according to a report by The Hill. The agreement will also put off the panel's threat to hold Meadows in contempt.
The agreement comes after two months of negotiations between Meadows and the committee. It also follows a Justice Department indictment of longtime Trump ally Steve Bannon who defied a subpoena to testify before the panel.

Regardless, the panel “will continue to assess (Meadow's) degree of compliance,” Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson said in a statement, The Associated Press reported.
“The Select Committee expects all witnesses, including Mr. Meadows, to provide all information requested and that the Select Committee is lawfully entitled to receive,” Thompson said.
