Natick Shooting: Video Shows Man Dodge Bullet At Hotel
A video released by Natick police shows a man fleeing a gunman at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and juking a gunshot.

NATICK, MA — Police released dramatic video of Tuesday's shooting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel showing the victim running for his life and dodging a bullet. The video shows the gunman chasing a man who crashes into the automatic front door of the hotel. The man squeezes through the door then slips on a rug and falls down on the ground to his right as the gunman raises his pistol. The victim then picks himself up and zigzags to the left as the gunman opens fire at close range. The bullet missed.
Natick police obtained the video from one of the hotel's surveillance cameras. The shooting happened at about 2:41 a.m.

Police were still searching for the gunman Wednesday. Natick Police Chief James Hicks said he believed the suspect fled in a car. Police said they are investigating how the confrontation started but believe it was an isolated incident.

"We do not believe this event poses any additional threat to our community," Natick police said in a statement.
The shooting drew dozens of law enforcement officers to the scene and the hotel was evacuated.
