What to Expect
1:30–3:00 PM - Beginner Class A gentle, guided introduction to Argentine Tango.
You’ll learn how to walk in harmony with a partner, find your balance, and discover the rhythm that makes this dance unlike any other.
3:00–6:00 PM - Che Tango Practica After class, stay and dance (or simply observe) in a relaxed, social atmosphere. It’s where learning meets fun - with music, friendly dancers, and a chance to see how beginners and advanced dancers share the same floor.
3:30 PM - Performance by Ultimate Tango Teachers and Students A short showcase to inspire you - and show where your very first steps might take you.

Discover the Magic of Argentine Tango - for Free! (OPEN HOUSE)

Summer is a good time to try something you've been thinking about. Eight Thursday evenings and you'll know how to dance Argentine tango - and you'll have met people you wouldn't have met anywhere else.
People come to this course for different reasons. Some want to learn to dance. Some are looking for a new social circle. Some are curious about tango - the music, the culture, the way two people can have a full conversation without saying a single word. Some just wanted something worth doing this summer.
Whatever brings you, you don't need a partner and you don't need experience. Just show up.
What you'll learn: the tango walk, the embrace, the 8-count basic to the cross, how to connect and communicate non-verbally with a partner, how to read body language and respond to it, and the foundations of improvisation, navigation, and musicality.
Also included: every registered student gets access to the Tuesday Practica (8:30–11pm) at no extra cost. More floor time, more practice, more people.

In this class we take it apart: the three steps, the pivot, and the specific responsibilities each role carries.For the follower, we work on reading when to move and when to wait, because the molinete is one of the places where that distinction matters most.For the leader, we look at something that often surprises people: you do not need to lead every single step. You lead the direction, and then you lead the stop or the change. What happens in between belongs to the follower. Understanding that changes how both people experience the molinete.
