It was where our Army would prepare to send 1.3 million GIs across the Atlantic Ocean to fight the nazi army. "Last Stop USA" for too many !
It began as a Post Office & PX {Post Exchange} for the 1950's Nike Missile Program Rockland Headquarters on Western Highway in Tappan.
Its comforting to know that our Government has not given up trying to provide homes for our homeless veterans at least in the Hudson Valley.

Even in times of troubles, some serious, some not so serious. but it could not, will not, diminish the title of the land of opportunity.
