Dr. John D. Kling II, Community Contributor

Raised in Alexandria, Vir­ginia, Dr. John D. Kling graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina with a B.A. in Biology and from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency at Buffalo General Hospital in 1985, and has been in private practice in Old Town Alexandria since that time.

Dr. Kling’s post-graduate education includes extensive course work through the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the LSU School of Dentistry’s Academy of Continuing Dental Education. He has earned the highest achievement of Mastership through the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires more than 1,100 hours of approved continuing dental education in all aspects of dentistry. The pinnacle of educational achievement, however, has been earning his Accreditation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). This has been accomplished by only 414 dental professionals and showcases his deep commitment to excellence in the dental profession.
