• FCPS solidifies plan to expand advanced academic programs in all middle schools (ffxnow.com) — Hayfield families will soon have advanced academic (AAP) classes available directly at Hayfield Middle School, instead of students needing to transfer to another center. Fairfax County Public Schools approved a multi-year plan to add AAP programs to 11 middle schools, with Hayfield among the next group slated for community engagement this year and seventh-grade implementation starting next fall.
