• Grace Potter's Grand Point North festival draws crowds to Burlington Waterfront (mynbc5.com) — Live music is taking over Burlington's waterfront this weekend as Grace Potter's Grand Point North festival brings national and local acts to town and raises money for her Vermont-focused arts foundation. With performances continuing through tomorrow, including Dark Star Orchestra and Potter's own headlining set, residents can still catch big-name shows right on the lakefront. 
• Annual Softball-a-thon raises money for Camp Takumta (wcax.com) — Centennial Field in Burlington hosted a charity Softball-a-thon where local businesses and organizations fielded teams to raise money for Camp Takumta, which supports children with cancer and their families. Kids also explored fire trucks and emergency vehicles, helping them feel more comfortable with first responders while neighbors enjoyed a day of games and community spirit.
• Who mentored you? (vermontbiz.com) — Burlington Football Club coaches are using a new Mentoring Mindset training to better support local kids on and off the field, helping newcomers feel included and confident. The statewide program from MENTOR Vermont teaches everyday adults—coaches, camp staff, librarians—simple, relationship-focused skills to give more Vermont youth the trusted adults they say they're missing.
