ALEXANDRIA, VA — Cheerful, energetic Hannah is this week’s Pet of the Week from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's animal shelter. She’s 39 pounds, just under a year old, and ready to go to a home where she can become someone’s walking or running buddy.

Here’s what the AWLA has to say about this sweet girl: Hannah “greets everyone she meets with enthusiastic tail wags" and "loves to play and go on walks," where she can show off her growing leash manners.

This cheerful, treat-motivated girl also loves her toys – “especially if they squeak!” the shelter says.
