A local animal hospital is apparently expanding, in a neighborhood seeing new business activity. In addition to the construction for new Mexican restaurant , whose exterior is mostly complete, there is also some new construction next door at the , at 4205 Evergreen Lane.

Phone calls by Annandale Patch to the manager over the last few weeks have not been returned. However, the permit lists the animal hospital as the owner of the property. It appears that the hospital is expanding the services it currently offers.

The expansion site used to be a 7-Eleven. Columbia Pike Animal Hospital has been in Annandale for over 30 years. The hospital cares for pets of all ages and offers a boarding kennel in addition to grooming services.
