One Person Rescued With Life-Threatening Injuries From Fairfax County Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire April 23 and found one person with life-threatening injuries.

VIENNA, VA – One person with life-threatening injuries was rescued from a fire on the 4400 block of San Carlos Drive in Fairfax on the night of April 23, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue reports.

Firefighters were called to a single-family home at 8:55 p.m., according to the department, and found smoke pouring from the home’s basement. They were told that one person in the house was unaccounted for.

Firefighters found the missing person and report that they were taken to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.

Firefighters were able to completely extinguish the fire. Its cause is still under investigation.
