Get Batty at Hidden Oaks Nature Center in Annandale

Hidden Oaks is also the site of Bat Fest scheduled for Saturday. Leslie Sturges, wildlife rehabilitator and licensed exhibitor will present live local bats from 7 to 9 p.m. Go on an evening bat hike using a sonar detector to identify bat calls and enjoy games and crafts. Get Batty About Bats on Friday, Sept. 19 at Riverbend Park. Through games and activities, learn why bats are disappearing from our skies.
