According to the study, a DC resident needs to earn $80,273 a year to live comfortably. Assaults, Thefts Decline in McLean: Police Data
Fairfax County has released crime statistics for 2016 for the McLean District and the rest of the county, and overall the county saw a 2 percent increase in crime in 2016 compared to the year before. McLean saw a significant decline in thefts but an increase in crimes against society.

Performers, Beauty Queens and Giant Balloons to March in Cherry Blossom Parade
Marching bands from across the country, as well as beauty queens, celebrity performers and giant helium balloon characters, will be part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on Saturday morning on Constitution Avenue NW in downtown D.C.
