Arlington Coronavirus Update: 13 Days With No Additional Deaths
Virginia Department of Health confirmed Thursday 17 additional cases of the new coronavirus in the Arlington Health District.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Virginia Department of Health reported no new deaths Thursday in the Arlington Health District due to COVID-19, the disease associated with the new coronavirus. This is the 13th day in a row in which no new deaths were reported. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the Arlington Health District stands at 135.
There are 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the Arlington Health District as of Thursday morning, bringing the total number of cases in the health district to 2,874. In the health district, there have been a total of 433 hospitalized patients to date.
As of Thursday, there are 88,904 total cases statewide, according to data reported by the Virginia Department of Health. In Virginia, there have been 2,141 coronavirus-related deaths to date. There have been a total of 7,786 hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

There have been 17 coronavirus outbreaks in the Arlington Health District as of Thursday, with 545 cases related to an outbreak. There have been 12 outbreaks at long-term care facilities, two outbreaks at a congregate setting and three outbreaks in health care settings in Arlington. There have been 179 reported coronavirus cases in Arlington health care workers.

On Thursday, Virginia health officials reported 35,447 COVID-19 tests have been taken in Arlington, with a 4.0 percent positivity rate. Statewide there have been 1,195,101 COVID-19 tests taken, with a 7.4 percent positivity rate.
Globally, more than 17 million people have been infected by COVID-19, and over 667,000 people have died, Johns Hopkins University reported Thursday morning. In the United States, more than 4.4 million people have been infected and over 150,000 people have died from COVID-19.

- 0-9: 63 cases
- 10-19: 140 cases
- 20-29: 571 cases
- 30-39: 520 cases
- 40-49: 471 cases
- 50-59: 411 cases
- 60-69: 300 cases
- 70-79: 180 cases
- 80+: 205 cases
