Arlington County Police Seek Suspect In Armed Robbery: Police

According to police, a male suspect threatened his victim at gunpoint and demanded money.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with an early-morning armed robbery that took place Aug. 4. Police were called about the robbery Wednesday at about 3:30 p.m.

According to police, the male victim was walking between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. in the area of Clarendon Boulevard and North Barton Street. The victim told police he was then approached by the male suspect who tried to engage him in conversation before taking out a firearm and threatening him. The man also demanded cash from the victim, who complied.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18-21 years old. He is between five-foot six inches and five-feet eight-inches tall, and weighs 140-160 pounds. The suspect was wearing black sneakers, blue jeans, a black short-sleeve T-shirt and a hat.
