Annual Online Verification Process Assistance
In addition, families will receive assistance with completing the Annual Online Verification Process (AOVP). AOVP replaced the First Day Packet students used to receive on the first day of school. As part of this process, families will be able to update information for each of their students through their ParentVUE account while they are at schools receiving assistance from staff.
Free COVID-19 Vaccine
Families and students that visit the APS Welcome Center to register or complete their AOVP will also be able to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine through the Arlington County Health Department. Appointments are not needed to receive the vaccine and walk-ups will be accepted. Students 12 and up will only be able to receive the vaccine if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
