ART Buses Getting New Refueling Station in Crystal/Pentagon City
The building has an appearance that suggests the area is finally getting another gas station, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

ARLINGTON, VA — Sorry, drivers in Pentagon City and Crystal City: that new gas station-looking building going up on Eads Street isn't for you. Those are compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling stations for ART buses.
It's too bad, considering the area has only one gas station a few blocks away, and it is crammed with drivers at all times. But the station, located at 3201 S. Eads Street, is being built by the Arlington Transit Service District and will be a CNG fueling station, according to the building permit.
Construction has begun in earnest in recent weeks and the building is starting to take shape. The new fueling spots have just been put in place, giving it the appearance of a gas station.

The building permit shows that the county applied for it in April 2014, and it was approved in June last year. It is designated as a "new commercial building" by the county.
