Attempted Burglary Charge Filed Against 60-Year-Old Arlington Man
A woman in the Buckingham neighborhood in Arlington called police after seeing a man try to enter her residence through a window.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 60-year-old Arlington man was arrested Tuesday night in connection with an attempted burglary in the Buckingham neighborhood, according to police.
Arlington County Police responded around 10:25 p.m. for the report of a burglary in process in the 4300 block of 2nd Road N. The person who contacted police told officers that she was inside her residence, when she heard a noise and saw a man trying to open a window, according to police. After yelling at the man, he ran off.
A preliminary investigation identified Michael Tomlin as the suspect in the case, according to ACPD. Officers took Tomlin into custody in the 4300 block of Arlington Boulevard.

Tomlin was arrested, charged with attempted burglary and then held without bond, according to police.
