Buckingham Shooting Preceded By Dispute Between Drivers: Police

Arlington County Police investigators recovered evidence confirming that a shooting occured Monday night in the Buckingham area.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night in the Buckingham neighborhood.

Officers responded around 8:18 p.m., for the report of a possible shooting near Arlington Boulevard and N. George Mason Drive. After searching the area, officers recovered evidence that confirmed shots had been fired, according to ACPD. No injuries nor property damage was reported.

Investigators determined that the shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute between drivers, police say. The suspect fled the scene driving a blue sports car.
