UPDATE: Four Courts Four Miler, D.C's St. Pat's Races Canceled
Due to concerns about the coronavirus the Four Courts Four Miler and D.C's St. Pat's Races for this weekend have been canceled.
UPDATE (Wednesday, March 11, 10:30 p.m.): The organizers of the St. Pats Run Fest announced Wednesday evening that they were canceling the March 14-15 event in the interest of public safety. This includes both Saturday's Four Courts Four Miler and Sunday’s 10K + 5K.
"In alignment with government officials, as well as our desire to create a safe environment for our runners, volunteers, staff, city services, and community, we are cancelling the 2020 St. Pats Run Fest and moving participants to the 2021 event," the organizers said in a statement their website.
Anyone who deferred prior to the cancelation announcement and paid a deferral fee will have their deferral fee refunded. Participants can continue to pick up their shirts and challenge medals at the Pacers Clarendon or Pacers 14th Street through the end of the month.

"We appreciate the support of the running community and especially the hard work of our municipality and medical partners," according to the statement. "This was a very difficult decision for our team but one we felt was necessary for the well-being of our community."

ARLINGTON, VA — Two St. Patrick's Day-themed races are merging this weekend, giving area runners two chances to show off their speed, stamina, and Irish regalia. The Arlington Four Courts Four Miler has joined forces with Washington, D.C's St. Pat's Races for a St. Pat's Run Fest.
First up is the Arlington Four Courts Four Miler, which begins Saturday, March 14, at 9 a.m., in front of the Ireland’s Four Courts Pub in Courthouse (2051 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA). Runners can compete in several races, including the 4 mile run, 5K race or the 10K race.
On Sunday, March 15, runners have the chance to compete in two runs as part of D.C's St. Pat's Races. The 5K race begins at 8:15 a.m., and the 10K race starts at 9 a.m. Start and finish lines are adjacent to the Washington Monument on 15th Street., N.W.
Runners can earn Double and Triple Challenge medals for finishing multiple races over the weekend. Medals will only be given to registered multiple-race runners and not for individual events. There will be a limited number of medals available, so register soon before they sell out. Entry fees range from $35-$45. All runners must register online before the race.
The Arlington County Police Department have issued a traffic advisory for the Four Courts Four Miler Race on Saturday. Numerous roads in the vicinity of the race will be closed to traffic and parking for several hours.
The following lanes will be restricted between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.:
- Wilson Boulevard from Courthouse Road to North Rhodes Street.
The following lanes will be restricted between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.:
- Wilson Boulevard from Route 110 to North Courthouse Road
- Northbound Route 110 from I-395 to I-66.
Motorists looking to park in the area should follow the instructions on the temporary "No Parking" signs. Any vehicles parked in violation of these signs will be ticketed and towed.
WMATA Bus routes will be detoured for the duration of Saturday's event.
