I-395 HOV Lanes to Close During Overnight Hours This Week

HOV lanes will be closed starting Tuesday night between Potomac River and Edsall Road.

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the northern portion of the I-395 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes during overnight hours from Tuesday through Thursday (Feb. 2-4), according to VDOT.

The closures are needed for crews to inspect and assess roadway and sign conditions as part of preliminary work related to the future extension of the I-395 Express Lanes.

Closures start at 9:30 p.m.
