Indecent Exposure Charges Filed In Crystal City Incident: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — A 50-year-old man was arrested in connection with an indecent exposure incident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Crystal City.

Arlington County Police responded to the 400 block of 23rd Street South around 12:46 p.m. for the report of an exposure. Investigators said a woman and a girl were walking out of a business when an unknown man approached them, exposed himself and made inappropriate remarks, according to police. The woman and girl ran away and called police.

After broadcasting a lookout, the officer who responded to the original call located the suspect nearby and took him into custody, according to ACPD.

Police arrested Mark Allen of an undetermined address, charging him with indecent liberties with a child, indecent exposure for more than three times in 10 years and drunk in public. He was then held without bond.
