JBG Smith Reduces Proposed Pentagon City Residential Units: Report
Developer JBG Smith reduced the number of multifamily units it planned to build at RiverHouse in Pentagon City, according to news reports.

ARLINGTON, VA — JBG Smith filed paperwork with the Arlington County in May that it was reducing the number of proposed new residential units it was planning to build as part of its planned RiverHouse apartment complex expansion in Pentagon City, according to news reports.
The Bethesda-based developer's filing with the county planning department showed a reduction in residential units planned for the 36-acre site at 1111 Army Navy Drive and 1400 and 1600 South Joyce St., according to the Washington Business Journal.
Instead of the nearly 2,000 units originally proposed, JBG Smith only wanted to build 1,500, which is less than 1,700 units currently at RiverHouse, WBJ reported. The revised application also removes two new multifamily buildings that the developer considered building at the site's north edge.
