Korean Chicken Eatery Coming to Shirlington

DAK Chicken will serve up Korean-style soy garlic, spicy or honey glazed chicken at former Bonsai restaurant location.

DAK Chicken is opening in Shirlington Village later this summer, according to the shopping center’s blog and signs posted outside the location on Campbell Avenue.

The restaurant will serve up “Korean style soy garlic, spicy or honey glazed chicken as well as a variety of Korean style fusion food and unique Korean drinks,” according to the blog.

The restaurant will take the place of the Bonsai restaurant on Campbell Avenue.

Also coming soon are Hula Girl Bar & Grill and Palette 22.

Bungalow Sports Grill recently closed. Other vacant spots include the former Johnny Rockets and Cake Love locations.
