Malicious Wounding Charges Levied Against 2 Arlington Men: Police
An argument between two Arlington men that turned physical resulted in malicious wounding charges for both, according to the police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Two Arlington men are facing malicious wounding charges in connection with a dispute that got physical Wednesday night in a residence in the Fort Myer area, according to police.
Officers from the Arlington County Police Department responded around 10:12 p.m. to the 1300 block of N. Pierce Street for the report of an assault with injury. A preliminary investigation revealed that two men who were aquatinted with each other were arguing when one of them punched and pushed the other, according to police. In response the second man grabbed a baton and struck the first man.
ACPD took the two men into custody and transported them to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Later, police arrested the two men, whom they identified as 59-year-old Jack Saunders and 57-year-old Richard Ferguson, who are both from Arlington. They were each charged with malicious wounding and held without bond.
