Radio Disney Visits Arlington Science Focus

Radio Disney hosted their Tree Trivia Assembly at Arlington Science Focus today. The students competed in a contest about trees with information they learned through the program Project Plant it! To learn more about Project Plant it! visit their website. 

According to a note from Frank Bellavia, with APS School and Community Relations, "Radio Disney is the media partner with the Project Plant It! program, which was developed by Dominion to educate children, plant trees on Arbor Day and improve the environment. Almost 1,300 in Arlington County are participating in Project Plant It! this spring. Earlier this year, teachers received a comprehensive kit packed with creative lesson plans, posters, stickers and certificates and each student received a tree seedling to plant at home in celebration of Arbor Day, April 29."
