UPDATED: SWAT Arrests Columbia Pike Shooting Suspects Near Shirlington
A man was sent to the hospital after gunfire erupted on Columbia Pike, and suspects led police on a chase on I-395.

A man was sent to the hospital -- and now faces criminal charges -- after an argument near a Burger King on Columbia Pike erupted in gunfire, according to reports.
Police responded to a dispute at about 10:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Columbia Pike, according to a police statement. Upon arriving, officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, and later charged for his role in the shootout.
Officers found out that there had been an argument between multiple people and a business owner over the sale of a vehicle, prompting one person to pull out a gun and start shooting at the victim, who was sitting in a vehicle.

The subjects fled in a vehicle and police gave chase on northbound I-395 before ending the chase in Washington D.C. U.S. Park Police provided their helicopter to help investigate.
Arlington detectives developed some descriptions of the suspect, and the SWAT Team arrested two people at a residence in the 2400 block of S. Lowell Street.

Police arrested 25-year-old Martin Walker of Largo, Md., on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, attempted malicious wounding, display of a firearm during a shooting and shooting at an occupied vehicle. Police also arrested 26-year-old Joseph Thompson of Manassass, who was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and shooting by mob.
Police charged the shooting victim, 20-year-old Gregory Porter Jr. of Triangle, with shooting by mob, saying he had been the aggressor in the dispute. He is being held on no bond.
"The initial investigation revealed there was a dispute between several subjects and a business owner over the sale of a vehicle," police spokesperson Ashley Savage said. "He was one of the several subjects involved in the dispute."
