Missing Autistic Teen Found After Search

An autistic teenager who was reported missing in Leesburg on Friday morning was found that afternoon, according to the town’s police department.

The Leesburg police asked for the public’s help in locating Jason Sorrells, 15. He was last seen at about 11:15 a.m. in the area of the Rust Library.

At 1:21 p.m. Friday, he was “located safe and sound just outside the town limits,” the police said in a statement.
