Motorcycle Driver Seriously Injured in Ashburn Crash
A motorcycle driver was seriously injured Saturday in a crash with another vehicle that closed the road for five hours: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A motorcycle driver was seriously injured Saturday after being involved in a crash with another vehicle in the area of Ashburn Farm Parkway and Summerwood Circle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The driver of the motorcycle, who was wearing a helmet, was airlifted to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Around noon, police arrived at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle apparently was not injured but the motorcycle driver immediately was treated by rescue units before being flown to the hospital. The road was closed for five hours. Witnesses who haven't yet talked to police are urged to call Officer J. McClintic at 703-771-5798.
