Police: More Graffiti Found in Area

Business, home targeted in Sterling, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

As the weather warms up, more graffiti is appearing in the area, according to reports from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Last week, a home and business in Sterling were vandalized with graffiti, the sheriff’s office said. In one case, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, a resident discovered the graffiti on an exterior wall of a business in the 22300 block of Sterling Boulevard.

In the other case, the graffiti was scrawled on the exterior of a home in the 230 block of Coventry Square.

The sheriff’s office has also been investigating a string of graffiti incidents in Ashburn, including markings disparaging Hindu culture that appeared last summer in the Brambleton area.

In the latest incident in Ashburn, a sheriff’s deputy on Wednesday evening discovered vulgar words and images on a pedetrian tunnel.
