Two Ashburn Men Charged in Home-Invasion Robbery

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office: Incident may be drug-related.

A pair of Ashburn men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly committing a home invasion-style robbery on March 25 in Purcellville, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The case is believed to be drug-related, the sheriff’s office said. Joseph R. Stevens, 36, and Okoya A. Dorsey, 23, were charged with burglary with intent to commit a felony, robbery and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The break-in occurred at a residence in the 36000 block of Charles Town Pike. The victims in the case told Loudoun police they were awakened around 2:30 a.m. on March 25 to find two individuals, whom they kbew, inside the residence.

One suspect brandished a firearm. He took a wallet from one of the victims and then struck him with the firearm, police said.

The second suspect then assaulted the other victim. The noise awakened another resident of the home, who intervened, police said. The suspects left after once again brandishing a knife.
