Two Face Attempted Murder Charges After Shooting in Lansdowne
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office: No injuries reported in Monday night incident

Two Loudoun County men have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting reported Monday night on a street in the Lansdowne area, according to the oudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
There were no injuries as a result of the shooting, the police said. The two suspects, Javier K. Todd, 19, of Leesburg and Timothy R. Vaughn, 20, of Ashburn, were both charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and shooting into a vehicle, the police said.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Monday, Loudoun sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Coton Hall Street and Riverpoint Drive for a report of possible gunfire, according to a police statement.

As deputies were canvassing the area, a deputy responding to the scene was approached by an adult male and adult female victim, the statement said. They reported they went to meet an acquaintance in the area of Riverpoint Drive.
As they pulled up next to the suspect vehicle, a passenger brandished a firearm and discharged multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle. One round passed through the vehicle and damaged a passenger-side window, police said.
The victims then fled from the area in their vehicle. A deputy on patrol saw the suspects’ vehicle in the Broadlands area around 1 a.m. The two suspects were taken into custody without incident, police said.
Both men remain held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, accordig to police.
