The Washington Business Journal has selected their top locally-owned restaurant chains, and Virginia’s Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Hard Times Café are on the list.
Five Guys, based out of Lorton and with 61 employees in the D.C. metro area, ranks No. 1 on the list. Hard Times Café of Arlington comes in at No. 4, and Glory Days Grill, of Fairfax, also ranks in the top ten.
It’s all part of the newspaper’s annual list that highlights the best businesses in the area.

Burke has a Glory Days location on 9526 Old Keene Mill Road, a Five Guys Location in Springfield at 6541 Backlick Road. The closest Hard Times Café location is in Fairfax at 4069 Chain Bridge Road.
