
Girls Varsity Soccer—The Lady Wildcats continue their winning streak with a 5 - 0 win over T. C. Williams on Monday, April 11. The first half of the game had the Wildcats up by three with goals by Haley Yow, Kayley Shomers and Mari Marotta (with two assists by Alex Myers and an assist by Kayley Shomers).
During the second half of the game the Wildcats knocked in two more goals by Katie O'Donnell and Kristen Fadel (both goals assisted by Katie Blumer). The team is now 9-0 for the season.
Varsity Softball–The team finally started their season after multiple rain-outs in back-to-back away games with non-district play against Battlefield on April 14th, and district play versus Oakton on April 15th.

The Lady Wildcats suffered losses in both games, but demonstrated discipline at the plate and solid defensive play in the Oakton matchup. They just fell short in the bottom of the seventh with a score of 4 - 3. The varsity squad played two games in the Madison Spring Break tournament and are scheduled to play four games this week: April 25 vs. Woodson at home, April 26 vs Robinson (away), April 28 vs Herndon (home) and April 29 vs. Westfield (home).
JV Softball—The squad also faced Oakton at home on April 15th and although they lead the Cougars for the majority of the game, the Wildcats lost the matchup, 8-5. The JV team's next outings are April 26 vs Robinson (home), April 27 vs Herndon (away), and April 28 vs Westfield (away).

Boys Varsity Lacrosse—The lacrosse team has been busy. On March 29, they played the South County Stallions and won the game 14-3. Scoring for the Wildcats were Chase Heiner (three goals), Daniel Ruelle (one goal), Danny Meador (five goals) Kevin Hagan (one goal), Andrew Belloli (one goal), Andy Reilley (two goals) and John Clements (one goal). Chase Heiner led the team with nine ground balls, followed by Sean Doyle, Andy Reilly and Michael Bollman, each with four ground balls.
On March 31 the Wildcats took on the Herndon Hornets at their home field in Herndon and won 15-6. Scoring for the Wildcats in that contest were Chase Heiner (three goals), Danny Meador (seven goals), Kevin Hagan (one goal), Andy Reilly (one goal), Daniel Ruelle (one goal) and Elliot Cunningham (two goals). The ground ball contest was led by midfielders Sean Doyle and Chase Heiner, each with 10 ground balls.
The winning streak for the Wildcats came to an end on April 4 when they played Oakton High School. The JV Wildcats suffered their first loss of the season, losing 9-5. Scoring for the Wildcats were Chase Heiner (two goals), Danny Meador (one goal), Kevin Hagan (one goal) and Sean Doyle (one goal). Leading the Wildcats in ground balls were Carlos Morrobel with five ground balls, followed by Chase Heiner, Kevin Hagan and Sean Doyle with four ground balls each.
