Lady Wildcats Compete in Northern Region Icebreaker

MacKenzie Kim, Jae Jun, Antoinette Roland, Katie Rouleau and Gabrielle Zlab represented CVHS at the tournament.

All the girls in the Northern Region were invited to the Oaks course Twin Lakes to participate in the annual Icebreaker outing. Girls competed in either the 18-hole flight or the nine-hole flight.

The event was held on August 17th at Twin Lakes. MacKenzie Kim and Jae Jun competed in the 18-hole flight and teed off on the first hole. Jae finished her round with a 7-over 78, which was the best score in her flight. MacKenzie wasn't far behind as she posted a very solid 82, which was good for the fourth best score of the day.

Teeing off on the 10th hole, Katie Rouleau, Antoinette Roland and Gabrielle Zlab competed in the nine-hole flight. Antoinette made a birdie on the long par-3 #15 and shot 46 and finished with the second best score in her flight. Katie was able to finish her round without getting hit by a ball and carded a 68. Gabby, playing in her first high school and competitive event, posted a 76.
