Man Breaks into Cub Run Elementary

The following information was provided by the Fairfax County Police Department. Where arrests are indicated, it does not mean a conviction. 

Burglary: Police arrested a man for breaking into around midnight on Thursday, July 14. An 18-year-old Chantilly man was taken to jail and charged with burglary. Editor's note: the name of the man was removed from this article in July 2012 because the charges were dropped. 

Larcenies:

• Chantilly Shopping Center: License plate stolen from vehicle
• Frankford Circle: Wallet stolen from vehicle
• Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Power tools stolen from vehicle
• Rockland Village Drive: Bicycle stolen from residence
• Stone Road: Cell phone stolen from business
• Stone Shadow Court: Credit card stolen from residence 

Vehicle Theft: 

• Union Springs Court: 1999 Toyota Camry

Embezzlement, forgery: Brian Donnell Marcellus, 21, of Keepers Park, Centreville, was charged with forgery writing (employing as true) and embezzlement greater than $200.
